Watch Scoring
The YoungCapital Dutch Championship Big Air 2023 marked a groundbreaking moment in kitesurfing with the introduction of Watch Scoring. Developed in partnership with The Surfr App and Heatscoring, this cutting-edge technology provided athletes with live performance feedback during their heats, a world-first in the sport.
Athletes wore Apple Watches that displayed real-time scores, jump heights, distances, speeds, and even heart rates. This innovative feature transformed the competitive experience, allowing kitesurfers to make instant strategic decisions and pushing them to new limits. Spectators, both on-site and via live stream, enjoyed a more immersive and engaging experience, following the scores and stats as they unfolded.
Watch Scoring showcased our commitment to integrating technology into kitesurfing, setting a new standard for competitions worldwide. As we continue to lead the way in kitesurfing events, we remain dedicated to enhancing the experience for everyone involved.
